Steven was truly a good person and an amazing individual. Only someone so special could have captured the heart of my friend Cindy - she is how I first met Steven. He was incredibly warm and open to meeting new people and having new experiences, and always wanted to really get to know others.

I remember visiting him in his new apartment in LA and helping to unpack and organize his kitchen. After I finished, I showed him how I organized everything and sort of explained my reasons for why I had placed certain things in specific places. He agreed with my organization, and that was a relief, since I knew he was very particular about those kinds of things. We spoke about cooking - he knew I liked to cook, and I told him that when he was feeling better, I would cook him a big, fancy meal. I'm sorry I wasn't able to live up to my promise.

He touched all of our lives because he was so special and he will live in our hearts forever.
